  14. sorry for the question but I am new with this SUN business.
  15. I just got my SPARC 10 (with SUNOS 4.1.3 and OpenWIndows 3)
  16. and wonder how I can get a Login-Prompt under OpenWindows.
  17. The Standard-Installation asks for Login on the Text-Console
  18. and then for non-root starts OpenWindows in .login.
  19.  
  20. I found a hint in the Manuals that there is a LoginTool,
  21. but this relates to SUN386 only and to SunOS <= 4.0.
  22. So how do I start the WindowManager (e.g. with getty
  23. from /etc/ttytab - as it is done on a ULTRIX workstation).

  25. I suppose you all know the answer and I am the one who doesn't,
  26. so I think it would be better to answer by mail. 
  27. If this is an FAQ - feel free and send as many flames, as you can!
  28. (But point me to the source PLEASE!)
