  12. A group at the library would like to have a more extensive login banner
  13. displayed when patrons connect to their 690 via network (telnet,
  14. rlogin). [SunOS 4.1.2]

  16. Telnetd seems to have the message it displays at connection time hard
  17. coded in, versus how it can be done with a tty by manipulating
  18. gettytab.

  20. I'm wondering if anyone has done this bit of system customization, and
  21. how?  The telnetd can probably be found is source form but I'm no C
  22. whiz.
