- Are there any functions in the image library for dealing with
- .sgi images that have been loaded into memory? What I'd like to
- do is load the run-length-encoded .sgi image files into memory
- verbatim and _then_ do a memory-based getrow().

- looking at a file pointer with it's really looking at a pointer to
- memory.
