- I'm not certain that this is the case, but the driver may have exited
- leaving the spooler and/or parallel port in an error condition.

- Short of that, the best solution for the wedged spooler problem is:

- /etc/init.d/lp start

- Try printing again.

- If it's the parallel port you can try a small program to reset it (see
- man plp and the ioctl PLPRESET), or reboot the machine.
