  13. Just to add to Dave's observations...

  15. The October beta of NT comes with support for a few common TCP/IP-based
  16. tools, including ftp, telnet, and rcp.  We use these in-house at SGI,
  17. and they seem to work fine.  I transfer files from my Indigo running
  18. IRIX to my MIPS Magnum 4000 running NT every day.

  20. I'm told that a company called FTP is developing a good NFS package.
  21. With that installed on your NT systems, you could use an Indigo
  22. running IRIX as a file server.
