  12. So far, the SGI Dat machine seems to be the only one that does Audio
  13. and Computer Backups (correct me if I'm wrong please!).

  15. If I could buy an SGI dat drive (without an SGI computer) , could it
  16. be connected to a PC via some scsi controller, and could I get it to
  17. work for both audio and data without an SGI box attached?

  19. I would like both tape backup, and an audio dat, and it would seem
  20. silly to have to purchase two different dat machines!

  22. If the above is possible, how much (roughly) does the SGI dat sell
  23. for? If it cost more than a PC dat plus and audio dat, it would
  24. obviously be a dumb idea...
