- So far, the SGI Dat machine seems to be the only one that does Audio
- and Computer Backups (correct me if I'm wrong please!).
-
- If I could buy an SGI dat drive (without an SGI computer) , could it
- be connected to a PC via some scsi controller, and could I get it to
- work for both audio and data without an SGI box attached?
-
- I would like both tape backup, and an audio dat, and it would seem
- silly to have to purchase two different dat machines!
-
- If the above is possible, how much (roughly) does the SGI dat sell
- for? If it cost more than a PC dat plus and audio dat, it would
- obviously be a dumb idea...
-
- Comments?
