- When we move windows, they go black.
-
- If we close a blackened window to an icon, and open the icon to a
- window, the window is restored. If we cover a blackened window with
- another window, then uncover it, the previously covered portion is
- restored.
-
- However, some black rectangles persist, immovable, and affect the
- borders of new windows, which evokes memories of bit-plane confusion.
-
- Here's the setup:
-
- IRIX 4.0.5C
- 8 40 MHZ IP7 Processors
- FPU: MIPS R2010A/R3010 VLSI Floating Point Chip Revision: 4.0
- CPU: MIPS R2000A/R3000 Processor Chip Revision: 3.0
-
- Graphics board 0 is "VGX" graphics.
- Managed (":0.0") 1280x1024

- Can anyone shed some light on this for us?
