- We use the product "Multinet" on our Vax to manage all of this and it
- really works well. We can export our passwd file to keep ownership info
- coordinated and can manage both client and server functions in both
- directions. It has made the VMS/Unix interaction almost pleasant to manage
- and use. We even acces Vax printers via remote queues on the Unx machines,
- share backups, the whole bit. There are some funny things that occur with
- filenames once in a while but nothing that imposes too big a barrier.
