  16.    1 - I've got some X programs that I run under 4sight(3.3.2), 
  17. specifically they are POV-Ray and Radiance, both of them attempt
  18. to make private colormaps so as to use all 256 colors, however,
  19. when running under 4sight they for some reason cannot. If I load
  20. up real X-Windows it works fine. Is this a problem with 4sight or
  21. the other software?
  22.    2 - I have a 4D/20 that I bought used, I have found that two
  23. of the plastic SIMM holders are broken, one is totally broken(both
  24. clips), the other only has one clip off. The SIMMs do not stay in
  25. very well at all. I am constantly crashing. Anywhere from 1-5 times
  26. a day, 4sight may freeze or I might get a kernal panic. I taped
  27. them in securely once and the system stayed up for 4 days straight
  28. and then the tape came undone and it crashed. Now I can never seem
  29. to tape it as well and I'm crashing a few times a day again. Does
  30. anyone have any suggestions on how to make them stay in or solve
  31. my problem? I don't have enought money to pay for another mother
  32. board so that's out of the question.
  33.    3 - I have an HP DeskJet 500, will TeX or any other non-commerical
  34. program support it in b&w mode?

  69.    4 - According to gversion() I have a low serial number version of
  70. the PI. Does SGI have an sort of motherboard trade in deal or 
  71. upgrader path for people like me?
