  14. Occasionally on booting my system (an entry R3K Indigo) I get SCSI
  15. error messages echoed to the screen and also to the SYSLOG, such as:

  24. hinv then shows all devices connected to the SCSI bus except the
  25. floppy drive, which is at ID=3. So far, the problem has always
  26. corrected itself upon reboot, and it does not happen often. Is there
  27. enough info here to determine whether the fault lies with the floppy
  28. drive itself or something else?
