- I don't know how it tries to read the capacity, but as I recall, the
- readcapacity command fails on CD-ROM drives when no media is present.

- Furthermore, the SGI drive defaults to 512 byte logical sectors after
- power on or SCSI bus reset, and the NeXT probably won't try to set
- the logical size for most apps, so you may have to write a short program
- on the NeXT to set the logical block size to 2048.
