    We are seeing some errors on an Indigo RPC running IRIXv4.0.1
which appear to be related to the SIMMS.  It is crashing regularly
(several times per day).  It is not convenient to do chip-by-chip
testing so I thought I would ask the opinion of the list.  We have
four 4M SIMM chips in one bank for 16M of memory.

    Note that we have had this Indigo for about a year (maintenance
contract just ran out) and this started happening after it was shutdown
and power cycled.  Here are some excerpts from the SYSLOG (no other
interesting messages) after two different crashes:

Dec  2 16:45:27 cirdan PANIC: IRIX Killed due to Memory Error

Dec  9 02:05:42 cirdan unix: Parity Error in SIMM

    Is there a test in diag mode for checking them?  It passes the
default test without problems.  Is there a convenient way to identify
the faulty chip other than swapping them one-at-a-time?
