  12. Question to all, we have a 40 station PC and Mac Ethernet network
  13. and lately, the Netware file server has been acting weirdly. Upon
  14. moderate to heavy load, and sometimes in no load conditions at all,
  15. I'm finding that it takes a long time for our file server to appear
  16. in the chooser selection, and after a while, the server disappears 
  17. from the chooser and reappears later. This wouldn't be that much of
  18. a problem, except for the fact that autoattaching Mac's on ethernet
  19. don't attach anymore. I'm wondering if this is a sign of a performance
  20. hit or too much traffic on the wire. Our localtalk segment, routed
  21. from the same fileserver, has no problems autoattaching each time,
  22. however, only Appletalk protocol is running on the localtalk segment
  23. while the ethernet segment has IPX (802.3 frame), Appletalk (ESNAP),
  24. and TCP/IP on it routed from another segment by the same file server.
