- Network Gurus . . .
- In Novell printing, the default setting for user hold is always
- "NO". Is ther any way to change this default setting from NO to YES.
- This changing willl help us a lot.
- We run a lab with 40 + nodes, and there are two laser printers
- connected to dedicated machines. The users have to pay for laser
- printing, and this is done by a vendacard, which decriments the
- count in the card for each page printed.
- So If we can change the user hold to yes, then we can put the
- lasers on the network, with a machine which has the pconsole always on
- the screen. The user sends the job from anywhere, go to the
- pconsole, release his/her job, and put the vendacard. I think this
- will solve a lot of problems for us.
- If somebody can give us some idea in this context, or someother
- way to solve this problem, I would really appreciate that. Thanking
- you all in advance.
