- I have-ne done it myself, but was thinking that we might use the following in
- the future:
-
- A machine running Novell's MHS, with a cheapo Rockwell-chipset V32.bis fax/data
- internal modem in the dedicated MHS machine, running an 3rd party add-on
- MHS/Fax gateway; said gateway would use the class 1/2 fax capabilites of the
- same modem used to carry std. MHS traffic between hubs.
-
- I received an Email reply to a query on what gateway products are available,
- from a lady in Novell's messaging division, saying that there are loads of such
- gateways available.
-
- Also, a company here in Ireland, East Coast Software do a product that allows a
- fax modem in a w/station to be shared, for use with WinFax Pro. I've never
- actually seen the product, but all the magazine reviews (including Byte) gave
- it the thumbs up..
-
- Hope this helps some,
