- We've noticed that none of our Next filesystems use more than 17% of the inode
- space allocated by newfs. We're considering changing the newfs default for
- inode allocation from (roughly) 1-per-4096 bytes to 1-per-8192 (halving the
- number of inodes), but before doing that, I wanted to get a feel for what other
- people are doing. I know that the "news" filesystem is a special case, but,
- other than that, does anyone have any recommendations in this area? Any
- gotchas?
