- A few months ago we were having problems with our server and I had to
- temporarily reconfigure one of our client stations to be a stand alone
- one. I used SimpleNetworkStarter (SNS) to first reconfigure the machine
- to stand alone. Once the server was working, I again used SNS to
- reconfigure the station to be a client.
-
- SNS worked fine both times, but now when I try to use the NextAdmin
- utilities like UserManager, NFSManager, or NetInfoManager from the server
- to look this particular client's stuff, I get an alert or error message:
- "Domain browsed did not respond, please try again later" or "Domain
- selected failed to open." The client has access to everything the server
- is exporting, but for some reason the client won't let me look around at
- its NetInfo database stuff.
-
- I already tried to go back to the default NetInfo set-up on the client,
- but the problem persists. Does anyone have some ideas about what I need
- to do to fix this problem?
