- I've come accross an interesting problem....if I alias localhost to my machine name in
- netinfo, then BIND nameserver (I run named locally) whinges about looking up the localhost
- name. Some programs and services rely upon being able to resolve localhost to 127.0.0.1
- and your IP number to something sensible (well, rely in the sense that an IP number looks
- ugly).

- However, renderd will not work unless you alias your localhost to your localmachine name,
- or viceversa.

- Am I the only person to notice this, is there a workaround? I'd like to render, but
- accurate nslookups are more important.
