  12. Hello. We just received the 3.0 release of NeXTSTEP for our machine, but
  13. have a problem: the software comes in a CD-ROM, and we don't have a NeXT
  14. CD-ROM drive (we have an old Cube upgraded to an '040). We are hoping to
  15. be able to plug in a Sun or SGI CD-drive to the SCSI port and use that
  16. instead. However, the CD-ROM Tools that came with the disk are on a 3.5"
  17. floppy and we have no such drive for the NeXT. I've tried reading the disk
  18. on a Sun Sparc drive but cannot determine the format. Any ideas? Is there
  19. any site from which I could ftp the CD-ROM tools?
