- Yes, the NeXT monitors are really, really HOT (like 9800K hot!).
- However, the 3.0 color matching works pretty well if you are using it
- right. NeXT has characterized their monitors (they seem to be
- consistantly bad), and if you are printing to a level-2 device, you
- will get pretty accurate color. We have been getting really excellent
- results printing to Iris color printers...

- It's much better to adjust image values based on device
- characteristics than trying to force the device to conform to some
- preset "standard," which doesn't work that well (the device has
- certain characteristics for a reason).
