- I have a brochure on Retouche, and saw it at Seybold, but that's the
- extent of my knowledge of this product. Does anyone know if it is
- currently in production, or is it still beta? Is anyone using it right
- now?
-
- I'm trying to understand how the features and capabilities of Image,
- Retouche, PixelMaster, Compose In Color, PhotoStylist, etc. will
- compare and to what extent they overlap. I haven't gotten involved with
- image editing tools on the Mac or PC, so I don't have any baseline to
- use in judging what these apps do and how well they do it.
-
- I'd love to hear from anyone who has had the opportunity to do an
- evaluation of some of these apps, and learn what features are critical
- vs. nice-to-have, etc. Disregarding the cost of the packages, which one
- would you want if you could only buy one, and why would you choose it
- over the others?
-
- Until now, there really hasn't been much choice other than using Icon,
- so I don't think I have a good picture of what real commercial image
- editing apps should be able to do, and how much they should cost.
-
- If anyone has any thoughts on this, I'm sure that a lot of people would
- like to see them posted.
