  28. Librarian doesn't understand the structure of mbox's.  However, WAIS  
  29. understands it just fine.  Download v1.9 of NeXTWAIS from the archives and use  
  30. it for indexing mboxes, news, etc.  It works very well.  (The latest release of  
  31. NeXTWAIS is/was broken wrt reading mboxes; I don't know if it has been fixed  
  32. yet.)
