  11. We are having trouble indexing a user's ~/Mailboxes directory under
  12. 3.0.  The objective is to be able to use the Librarian to find all the
  13. mail messages that refer to a particular topic.  However, the obvious
  14. procedure of dragging ~/Mailboxes into the Librarian and creating an
  15. index doesn't seem to work -- all queries on the index fail.

  17. Is there some particular reason NeXT mail files can't be indexed?  Or
  18. is there some conceptual leap I'm not making?  Any ideas or pointers
  19. into TFM would be greatly appreciated.
