  12. Just thinking a bit.

  14. IB has great facilities for extension (palettes, etc.).  It also has
  15. OK facilities for managing view hierarchies. (grop, group in scrollview).

  17. One thing that I think would be REALLY useful would be a "Group in
  18. arbitrary view" function which would encapsuluate both of the above, plus
  19. be more extensible.

  21. So for example you could group in scrollview, group in NXSplitView, group
  22. in box, group in "MyHackedView", etc.  I'm not too into building up 
  23. complex view hierarchies by hand when there's a perfectly reasonable
  24. facility to design them.
