- I've got a prototype program called Radio Recorder which lets you
- specify times to record from the microphone or DSP for playback later. I just
- leave my radio connected and it records the NPR programs I want to hear later.
-
- I'm trying to decide what to do with the program. If there is
- sufficient interest I could finish it and sell it, but I'm not sure how many
- people have an extra 55 Meg or more on their hard drive for recording a couple
- hours worth of material.
- My real hope is that there is some company or organization that needs
- to monitor the radio or audio of TV or any other sampled data that they want
- to monitor for certain periods. There are many ways I could make the
- prototype more powerful, like having it work over a network, having recordings
- indexed to real time, and controlling radios through the serial ports.
- I also have a design but no prototype for an application that would
- let you play back huge sounds easily and let you fast forward and reverse and
- skip ahead and back while listening so you can skip commercials or whatever.
- I'd be happy to work under contract or work on spec for a negotiated
- product price. I'm open to suggestions and available! (Not enough contract
- work for NeXTs here in Columbus,OH)
