- Hello there:
-
- I've built an application under 3.0 and have created a custom document icon for
- the documents which my application creates. However, even though I've already
- installed the application in ~/Apps, the Workspace still doesn't associate my
- icon with my documents unless the application is docked. Likewise, the WS
- doesn't allow me to set my application as the default application for my custom
- document unless the application is also docked.
-
- Under 1.0 and 2.0, the Workspace searched all path that's specified the the
- ApplicationsPaths default (owned by Workspace). Even if this is not set, I
- would have thought that the WS would at least search ~/Apps. Is there
- something different under 3.0 that I'm overlooking?
-
- Thanks for the help and I'll summarize if there's any interest.
-
- Best regards,
-
