  13. At this point, when I power down and back up it says:

  17. and gives me a prompt, so I type 
  18. bsd sdmach nbuf=64
  19. and it boots up!  But my machine crashes 'for no appearant reason' about
  20. every 3 days, and sometime my swapfile grows to the size of my free space
  21. - 20 meg or so (that's a 520Meg swapfile).  I believe that it goes all
  22. the way on a lock up.
  23. This is an original Mono Slab, now running 3.0.
  24. Anyone with an idea what's going on?
