  13. I have about 40 800k Mac floppies, some of which I would like to
  14. place on my NeXTstation color.  I have NeXTStep 3.0 with Appleshare,
  15. but that only reads the 1.2M floppies.  Without borrowing a newer
  16. Mac with a SuperDrive from somebody, does anyone have any ideas on how
  17. I could get the data from one side to the other?

  19. I figured I could create a poor-man's network -- serial link -- and
  20. just talk kermit, or Zmodem, or something like that, but I was hoping
  21. for a tad more elegant solution.  Has anybody ever tried getting
  22. a NeXT and a Mac to talk together in a "networked" fashion via AppleTalk?
  23. If I did this, would that allow me to transport files in a manner
  24. similar to FTP?  Am I just on drugs??? :-)
