- We had a chance to see a demo of the TextToSpeech kit at a recent user group
- meeting. Craig was kind enough to drive from Calgary to Edmonton to show it off (180
- miles). It was very impressive! While some people were turned off by the fact that
- it doesn't sounds *completely* human, the mere fact that it was able to turn written
- text into recognizable speech was awe-inspiring.

- I can understand why there is no demo of the kit. It's BIG. Too big to attempt to
- place on an FTP site, anyway.
