- Read the docs NextLibrary/Documentation/AppleTalk/AdminNotes and
- NextLibrary/Documentation/AppleTalk/UserNotes These two files will explain how
- to configure your next to access an AppleTalk network and there by print to a
- LaserWriter on the network.
-
- Things you need. NeXT on EtherNet network, LaserWriteron AppleTalk connected
- to EtherNet via a Shiva FastPath or similar gateway.
-
- Once AppleTalk access is established, open NeXTApps/PrintManager, click on
- Create, select Cummunications. AppleTalk will be one of the options(if not,
- you did something wwrong). Now click Chose Printer. You should see a list of
- nodes available to you. Setect the one that contains the LaserWriter you want
- to use, and wait about 1 minute while it looks for printers, then click on the
- printer you want.
