- I have a mac hooked to my ttya and a modem hooked to my ttyb.
- Both of these worked fine under NS2.1, but I just tryed the
- mac-next connection for the first time since upgrading to NS3.0
- and found that it no longer works. The modem connection works
- fine. I've tried switching cables and switching ports, but it
- still doesn't work. Now I'm suspecting that the problem is in
- the software. Has anything changed with getty or the port software?
-
- Here are two lines from my /etc/ttys:
-
- ttya "/usr/etc/getty std.19200" vt100 on
- ttyb "/usr/etc/getty std.38400" unknown off secure
-
- Does anyone have any more things for me to try?
