  12. As a prospective future NeXT buyer, I called 1-800-TRY-NeXT in response
  13. to their $11.00 video offer (A couple of issues back in InfoWorld).
  14. After ordering the videos, the telephone operator asked me if I wanted
  15. information about NeXT's new 486 system.  I said yes, but haven't
  16. received the videos, nor the information.

  18. My guess is a cheap 486 system with the introduction of NeXTSTEP 486
  19. (after the bugs in 3.0 are ironed out) followed by a multiprocessor
  20. Pentium model that hopefully kicks some silicon butt and puts the hardware
  21. issue to rest.
