- It may be that Frame is also making a DNS query to look up a host
- name, and this is causing traffic to be sent out the SLIP interface.

- I'm working on a new version which will have much, much finer grained
- control over exactly what sorts of packets will cause the link to be
- brought up, as well as being able to filter traffic sent and received.
- It may be this could be an eventual solution to your problem.

- You could also disable the dial-on-demand feature by using the
- DISABLECALL paramater on the duioctl command. This means you'd have
- to bring the link up manually.
