- Have you considered using Keyboard Alternatives (from Menu Preferences) in
- the Preferences app. This reassigns a command key to a Menu item,
- whichever apps it may appear in.

- If you use italic'ed command keys, you have a lot more to choose from
- (these are Command-Alt, I think). Possibly services apps should use those
- in preference to normal and shifted keys.
