  18.     But releasing software for a hardware platform is not necessarily
  19.     tied to NeXT releasing the hardware platform themselves.

  21.     Point:  There is no way that NeXT can compete in the     
  22.     Intel based PC market.  I would be surprised if they     
  23.     could offer prices competitive with the systems IBM 
  24.     and compaq are shipping these days, let alone the
  25.     Death Clones (tm) coming in from everywhere.
