  14. Hi all,
  15.   I've seen this problem on the net before, but do not remember
  16. the solution and I have to help a friend out today (SAT DEC 19).

  18. He just got a brand new turbo cube dimension system.  He booted it
  19. up and 3.0 was pre-installed.  He then used the ND upgrade diskette
  20. and installed the packages on it.  Afterwards he powered down his 
  21. machine and tried to re power it up it would die.
  22.  
  23. It gives the following error messeges when booting in the rom
  24. monitor:
  25. loginwindow 131   cannot find window server port
  26.  
  27.  
  28. Is there a quick fix, copying a couple of files to the right place
  29. from the 3.0 CD ROM?
  30.  
  31. Or must I rebuild the whole HD?
  32.  
  33. At any rate I would greatly appreciate any help on this.
