  13. Thanks for all who replied to my question about a new 17" monitor flickering.   
  14. One common suggestion was to move the monitor away from my MegaPixel mono--I  
  15. tried various positions and orientations and moving it as much as 4 feet from  
  16. the mono monitor, with no effect whatsoever on the flickering.

  18. However, the flickering has stopped.  My only guess is that it may have  
  19. something to do with the electrical service in our building, and that on  
  20. weekends (when the load is lower) this phenomenon does not occur.  I'll be able  
  21. to prove or disprove this hypothesis on Monday.  I'm hoping it just magically  
  22. fixed itself.
