  13. When I installed System 7.1 recently I noticed something unusual about
  14. the virtual memory...
  15.  
  16. I have a Mac IIci with virtual memory chugging away with 12 MB being
  17. used on e hard drive.  32-bit addressing is turned off -- always.
  18. Whenever VM is turned on, the System Software apparently requires an
  19. additional 400K or so to accommodate the VM.  I noticed this
  20. immediately after installing System 7.1 and turning on virtual memory;
  21. no other INITs had been added -- just those that came with System 7.1.

  23. Does that seem right?  I don't remember VM under System 7.0.1 tuned
  24. requiring 400K RAM to run properly...
