- I've been plagued for a long time by a series of mysterious glitches.
-
- I'm using a Mac II 8/135, Rocket 25i and from one session to the next
- I can get different effects for various things like the sound, programs
- working/crashing...
-
- The most recent problem might help illuminate what's wrong. Using
- Adobe Photoshop to edit a 256 color PICT file, I was using the
- paintbrush to brighten up an area of red pixels.
-
- While I stroked the brush, I would periodically get a 3x20 (approx) vertical
- stripe of random color. At the time I was zoomed in 2x and when I went
- back to the random color stripes I could click one pixle and the stripe
- would disappear.
-
- I assume that this indicates either a problem with the video memory or
- the Rocket memory or the logic circuits that address the memory.
-
- Anybody feel that this is familiar?
-
- Thanks, Rick
