  57. You can get the TrueType fonts from one of several KanjiTalk authorized
  58. dealers.  We have one in Seattle (The Computer Store) and you can find
  59. the one closest to you by calling APDA at 1-800-282-2732 (USA).  Of
  60. course noone in the US (or in Japan, from what I was told) is selling the
  61. worldscript-compatible KanjiTalk7 version 7.1, but from tests with the
  62. alpha release of it, it doesn't appear that the English version of
  63. Microsoft Word (is there any other?) will handle kanji any better under
  64. 7.1 than it did before.  If you are unhappy with EGWord, I would
  65. recommend Nisus; you can buy it with a Japanese-handling extension or you
  66. can buy the Japanese version (SoloWriter).  We use SoloWriter and it
  67. works great.  In fact, with the exception of tables (which SoloWriter
  68. lacks) I prefer it to Microsoft Word in *any* language.
  69. Regarding printing speed, in my experience both TrueType and ATM are
  70. pretty slow printing Japanese, although we use a slow printer as well.
