  13. I have a similar problem with a Mac IIfx, sys 7.0.1 tuneup 1.1.1, 8MB RAM,
  14. 160MB HD.  I boot it and have a system of 2000K, and over the course of a
  15. few hours of routine hacking, the system always winds up growing (usually
  16. to about 3000K before I reboot it.)  I haven't tracked the problem down yet
  17. as I haven't had time to really sit down and figure out the details, but it
  18. does seem to be based in opening and closing applications (like Word, Excel,
  19. Hypercard, etc.)

  21. I'd love to hear any possible causes/solutions to this problem.
