  22. When you cmd-y a floppy it does not leave an image on the desktop.
  23. You were probably doing cmd-e for eject which does leave an outline
  24. of the floppy on the desktop.

  26. I always use cmd-y (put away) because it doesn't leave an image on
  27. the desktop and therefore I avoid the problem you are talking about.
  28. One more thing when the system asks you to insert "name" floppy you
  29. can abort that by pressing cmd-period.
