  23. I can't vouch for any of this information, so absorb it at your own risk.

  25.  1.  There are "lots more" public domain PStype1 than TT fonts available.
  26.  2.  For PostScript printing, PStype1 fonts are more efficient/reliable.
  27.  3.  Some/most service bureaus can't/don't  handle TT fonts well/at all.
  28.  4.  ATM will eventually be incorporated into system software anyway.
  29.  5.  Adobe illustrator can't convert TT fonts to outlines (yet).
  30.  6.  On slower Macs on Image-/Style-Writer, ATM is faster than TT.
  31.  7.  TT fonts take about 40% more disk space than PStype1 fonts.
