- After using the Postscript file option in the print job dialog box, I noticed
- that all my New York fonts were converted to Times Roman. My Laserwriter did
- not have the New York font so I downloaded and it made no difference.
-
- I thought that the Mac will query the printer to determine what fonts it has
- loaded. The fonts the printer does not have are then included in the
- postscript code if they are loaded in the System file. If neither of these
- is the case, a substitution is done.
-
- Is this right? I have System 7.0.1 with tuneup and the TrueType version of
- New York. Can someone explain whats going on here?
-
-
- Thanks,
-
- Will
