  13. Actually, I'd recommend these books:

  15.         Scott Knaster's _How to Write Macintosh Software_
  16.         (3rd Edition, I believe).

  18.                 Scott does a great job of explaining Macintosh memory
  19.                 management, the use of registers, and what compiled code
  20. looks
  21.                 like as assembly.  An appendix gives one a good reading
  22.                 knowledge of 68000 assembly.

  25.         by Konstantin Othmer & Jim Straus

  27.                 After reading this book (using the disk with MacsBug and
  28.                 example programs) you'll be an expert.  It includes
  29.                 lots of great tips, and sections on debugging
  30.                 anything...CDEFs, CDEVs, INITs, drivers...you name it.
