  29.   My intentions for starting this programming group are not limited to
  30. the creation of a text engine.  The text engine is merely a starting
  31. point for the group, a task chosen to organize a Mac programming
  32. group to develop Mac software, code, libraries, etc.

  34.   We've all heard about TopSoft, well this could be the same thing.
  35. I would like to start a similar group.  Instead of entering a group
  36. that has been working together for awhile and is putting out their 
  37. own stuff soon, this is a group that is just starting, an opportunity
  38. to get in on the ground floor of a new group.  The programming group,
  39. at this point, has no agenda (besides the >32k text engine).  Where the
  40. group goes next will depend on what the group wants to do.

  42.   To get the group started, I decided on this task because it is a 
  43. worth-while task to complete, it is (supposedly) simple enough to 
  44. complete, and to get people interested in the group.  It is merely 
  45. a simple task to get the group organized and working together.  Once
  46. the group completes this task, it should be in a position to
  47. continue onto bigger and better things.
