  24. I've seen what I call a bug wherein drag and drop fails on aliases to
  25. programs on different volumes (i.e. your program is on volB and the alias
  26. is on the desktop of volA).  This happens with a lot of the alias making
  27. programs.  You should do Make Alias in the Finder and move that alias to
  28. the desktop.  That always works for me.
