  11.     Can someone tell me where to get information on how to use
  12.     Quicktime in a program?  I have a few questions and I dont know
  13.     where to look for the answers (maybe one of the Inside Mac
  14.     volumes).

  16.     I understand that it is possible to replace the decompression
  17.     routines in Quicktime.  Is it, for instance, possible to
  18.     replace it with MPEG or can it not be done at this level.  From
  19.     what I have seen using Quicktime on my Mac and MPEG on an IBM
  20.     and my Sparcstation, MPEG wins hands down on quality of
  21.     picture.  Is the Quicktime video decompressor DCT-based?
  22.     (probably not considering the multitude of multiplies needed).
