- I guess you'd have to talk to the vendors about licensing the algorithms.
- In the case of Compact Video, that would be SuperMac. Who knows? There may
- already be companies at work on dedicated hardware boards for doing Compact
- Video compression.

- Side note to your side note: there was a QuickTime codec released earlier this
- year from Apple that used the 8*24GC to speed up decompression of Apple-Video-
- compressed movies.
