- I had a little resource problem a few months ago when I was writing a
- SFGetFolder kind of routine. I got the routines working fine, but this
- problem just kind of bugged me.
-
- Try to open DITL -6042 in the System file using ResEdit. This is the
- default open dialog box. You'll get the following message:
-
- "This resource cannot be edited with the custom DITL editor because one or
- more help items are not at the end of the list. You may open this resource
- using the DITL template."
-
- Thinking it might make a difference, I typed in the Rez source for the
- default Open dialog (on pp. 3-18 & 3-19 of _Inside Macintosh: Files_),
- compiled it with Rez, and then tried to open the compiled resource in
- ResEdit. Same message.
-
- So, does anyone know why this is happening, and if there is any workaround?
- Many thanks in advance.
-
- Ken
