  10. I had a little resource problem a few months ago when I was writing a 
  11. SFGetFolder kind of routine.  I got the routines working fine, but this
  12. problem just kind of bugged me.

  14. Try to open DITL -6042 in the System file using ResEdit.  This is the
  15. default open dialog box.  You'll get the following message:
  16.  
  17. "This resource cannot be edited with the custom DITL editor because one or
  18. more help items are not at the end of the list.  You may open this resource
  19. using the DITL template."
  20.  
  21. Thinking it might make a difference, I typed in the Rez source for the
  22. default Open dialog (on pp. 3-18 & 3-19 of _Inside Macintosh: Files_),
  23. compiled it with Rez, and then tried to open the compiled resource in
  24. ResEdit.  Same message.
  25.  
  26. So, does anyone know why this is happening, and if there is any workaround?
